BET has announced Academy Award®-nominated and Golden Globe®-winning actor, writer, director, producer, and philanthropist Taraji P. Henson will return to host the “BET AWARDS” LIVE from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles

Adam Shankman, producer of Hocus Pocus 2, has announced a Halloween release date for the highly-anticpated sequel. Bette Midler recently celebrated that the film had wrapped production. Midler will be joined by her previous co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy in the new film. Hannah Waddingham, Doug Jones, and more round out the cast.

Last week, the final encore of her acclaimed concert “Melissa Errico Sings Her New York” at Feinstein’s/54 Below had some very special guests in the audience, including Tony-winning Broadway star Donna McKechnie, David Cone of the New York Yankees, plus Errico’s 3 daughters and her husband, tennis star and ESPN commentator Patrick McEnroe.

Disney has revealed a first look photo of Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker on the set of Hocus Pocus 2! Production on the live-action comedy, the haunting sequel to Disney’s Halloween cult classic, is currently underway in Rhode Island. Check out the new photo now!

Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy, and Doug Jones have been announced to return, along with Hannah Waddingham, Whitney Peak, Lilia Buckingham, and Belissa Escobedo rounding out the cast. The new film is currently in production in Rhode Island.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts presents the 12th annual National Dance Day (NDD) in partnership with American Dance Movement (ADM). Segerstrom Center joins The Kennedy Center as the official site of this year's National Dance Day celebrations on Saturday, Sept. 18. Singer/actress Bette Midler (“The First Wives Club,” “Beaches”) returns as Winifred Sanderson, with Sarah Jessica Parker (“Sex and the City”) and Kathy Najimy (“Sister Act”) back as her sisters, Sarah and Mary, respectively. In “Hocus Pocus 2,” three young women accidentally bring the Sanderson Sisters back to modern day Salem and must figure out how to stop the child-hungry witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on the world.
