Walter Phillips Gallery at Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity is pleased to announce Anna Binta Diallo and Logan MacDonald as the recipients of the 2020/21 Barbara Spohr Memorial Award.

On Friday, March 19 at 7 pm (EDT) monologues by six playwrights will be seen in the world premiere of Put a Woman On A Pedestal, an on-line StatueFest of readings by Pauline David-Sax, Renee' Flemings, Allison Fradkin, Judith Pratt, Laura Shamas and Lucy Wang.

Every year New Paradigm Theatre (www.nptheatre.org) hosts a party for their 'tribe' of supporters on Giving Day.  This year we are hosting a virtual party that is full of performances and shout outs from our favorite Broadway performers and youth.  Performers include Grammy and Emmy winner Paul Bogaev, Broadway veterans Jodi Stephens, Janelle Robinson, Kristin Huffman, Jamie Karen, Patrick Heffernan, Randye Kaye, Mark Deklin, Sue Gilad, Larry Rowgowski, Joe Barros, Barbara Distinti and many more!

Following the success of Bobbie's Summer Series, Berkshire Theatre Group has announced Bobbie's Fall Series, introducing outdoor afternoon entertainment on weekends, including jazz Sundays, in September and October.

Apple Family Productions has announced the world premiere of INCIDENTAL MOMENTS OF THE DAY: The Apple Family: Life on Zoom, the final play in the pandemic trilogy, written and directed by Tony Award winner Richard Nelson, on Thursday, September 10 at 7:30 p.m. ET.

At 7:30 PM EDT on Saturday August 15, the Hangar Theatre Company will host the Tom Niederkorn Memorial Celebration. This will be a virtual event that will be available for free on the Hangar's YouTube page.

Hot Off the Press is a program of new solo writings presented by talented scribes in staged readings. Usually presented in a theatre with a live audience, our newest show will be performed in a virtual presentation live via Zoom, to conform with current considerations of public health and safety.
