Jeff Davis is a theater educator, director, designer, and playwright. Now based in Round Rock, Jeff hails from Southern California and received his BA in Theatre from UCLA. He’s worked with various theater companies across the Southwest, including Zach Theatre, Penfold Theatre, Ground Floor Theatre, Georgetown Palace Theatre, and Four Corners Musical Theater. As the owner of Ovation Theatrical, Jeff’s work as a video designer has been seen in theaters around the world. Directing credits: Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors (Zach North), A Doll’s House, A Doll’s House Part 2, Puffs (Vandegrift High School), Our Town (Leander High School), Bonhoeffer’s Cost, Picnic, Private Lives, Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks (Agape Theatre). Writing Credits: The Yellow Wallpaper, adapted from the short story and poetry of Charlotte Perkins Gilman. Other adaptation Credits: A Doll’s House by Henrik Ibsen and (Wo)men of the Assembly, adapted from The Assemblywomen by Aristophanes. Jeff is currently writing an original comedic play titled The Vampyre, or Lord Byron F***ing Sucks.
