Nicolette is a Chickasaw producer, performer, playwright, composer, and lyricist. She is the cowriter, composer, and lyricist for the new musical in development Savage the Musical. Savage is based on the true story of her great grandma, Native American Chickasaw Vaudeville and silent film starlet, Wanda Savage. Wanda faced racism, misogyny, and abuse while trying to make a name of herself, all the while trying to be a mother to her son in a time (1920s) when women didn't have many choices. Nicolette self produced and recorded an EP and singles for Savage that has received over 37K streams to date. Savage has over 8K social media followers and premiered, in concert, at the 2019 NYMF. Savage the Musical had its first developmental production April 2022 at Jaduke Theater in MA receiving standing ovations at each of the four shows.
