Wandering a bit outside the Kansas City Metro, Broadway World had the opportunity to explore a current production running at the Fox Theatre in downtown Springfield as a co-production of Springfield Contemporary Theatre and Resident Artist Ensemble.
The play is 2013’s THE OTHER PLACE by Sharr White, a fascinating, four actor study of one woman’s journey of discovery as she experiences unexplained changes in what should be the prime of her life.

Tony, Drama Desk and Grammy nominated singer and actor Max von Essen was featured in an intimate New York Pops Underground cabaret performance at Feinstein's/54 Below on Monday, October 4, 2021. The event began with a champagne reception at 5:30pm followed by the performance at 6:30pm, accompanied by a three-course dinner with wine pairings.

Since first appearing here with Awakening, she has toured a new concert evening all over the world: Australia, Japan, Paris, and London. She now returns "home" to bring New York audiences this new evening of song and storytelling. Backed by a 6 piece orchestra, Sierra will share songs from stage and screen that she has never sung before along with songs associated with her career, but with new twists.
