Actors Training Center now celebrating its 15th Anniversary, has announced its inaugural holiday musical, Little Women the Musical, based on Louisa May Alcott's celebrated and popular novel, as part of ATC's Musical Theatre Intensive (MTI), running Friday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec 12 at 6 p.m.
The Show Will Go On! promises to be an evening of joy featuring more than 60 of Chicagoland's best young professional actors covering their favorite musical theatre songs. Chicago-area theatres have been hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic with many shows not set to open until 2021.
Citadel Theatre Company has extended the run of its 2019 holiday season production of ANNIE by two weeks, to Sunday, January 5th, giving audiences the chance to enjoy this ever-popular family favorite throughout the holiday season. The additional performances will be Saturday, December 28 at 8 pm; Sunday, December 29 at 3 pm; Thursday, January 2 at 7:30 pm; Friday, January 3 and Saturday, January 4 at 8 pm; and Sunday, January 5 at 3 pm.

Lake Forest Theatre presents its inaugural season opener, THE SECRET GARDEN, opening June 10 and running through July 2, with the press opening on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. Managing Artistic Director Steve Malone will direct the season opener at the newly renovated John & Nancy Hughes Theatre, 400 East Illinois Rd. in downtown Lake Forest. The production will be accompanied by a 15-piece live orchestra.
