Carnegie Hall has revealed the summer concert schedule for Carnegie Hall Citywide, the Hall’s free concert series that brings a diverse lineup of live performances to neighborhoods throughout New York City. See the performers!

On Thursday, March 14 at 8:00 p.m., conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin will lead  NYO-USA All-Stars, an all-star ensemble made up of alums from Carnegie Hall’s acclaimed National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America (NYO-USA) in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage.

On Saturday, December 10 at 8:00 p.m. Carnegie Hall presents the highly anticipated return of A Night of Inspiration, an uplifting evening of music, dance, and spoken word from diverse traditions in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage.

Carnegie Hall celebrates the start of its 2022–2023 season with an Opening Night Gala concert on Thursday, September 29 at 7:00 p.m. featuring The Philadelphia Orchestra conducted by Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin. Acclaimed pianist Daniil Trifonov is the soloist for this special evening, performing Liszt's Piano Concerto No. 1. Also on the program is Ravel's La valse, Gabriela Lena Frank's “Chasqui” from Leyendas: An Andean Walkabout, and Dvořák's Symphony No. 8 rounding out the festive evening.

The Sphinx Virtuosi — the self-conducted chamber orchestra composed of eighteen Black and Latinx classical soloists that serves as the flagship performing entity of the Sphinx Organization — will make its annual appearance at Carnegie Hall.

Carnegie Hall will present renowned conductor-composer John Williams, celebrated violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter, and the legendary Philadelphia Orchestra in Across The Stars: The Music of John Williams, a one-night-only gala performance on Thursday, April 21 at 7:00 p.m. 

The Sphinx Virtuosi—a professional chamber orchestra comprising 18 of the nation's top Black and Latinx classical musicians who are primarily alumni of the internationally renowned Sphinx Competition—takes its “Tracing Visions” program back on tour this spring with performances in seven cities along the East Coast and in the Midwest.
