Catch the Broadway hit MEAN GIRLS at the State Theatre New Jersey on May 11-12, 2024.
Through the zany situations, there is a message about “girl power”; a timeless message. Direct from Broadway, MEAN GIRLS is the hilarious hit musical from an award-winning creative team, including book writer TINA FEY, composer JEFF RICHMOND, lyricist NELL BENJAMIN and original director and choreographer CASEY NICHOLAW.
Tina Fey’s 2004 cult teen classic film MEAN GIRLS, made its way to Broadway in 2018 and has been playing to sold-out houses ever since. The musical is presented as a “Cautionary Tale,” about the cut-throat, caustic social climbing and clamoring that happens in high school where mean girls reign supreme.
What did our critic think of MEAN GIRLS at Robinson Center?
MEAN GIRLS couldn’t have come to Vancouver at a better time. Donning the same iconic story and famous one-liners used in the 2004 cultural touchstone movie, MEAN GIRLS is everything you would expect and more, all wrapped up in a Broadway musical form.
This splashy musical comedy will delight fans of the 2004 movie.
NETworks Presentations has released production photos and first look video of the non-equity North American tour of Mean Girls, the record-breaking new musical comedy adapted from the hit Paramount Pictures film by Tina Fey.
The touring company of 'Mean Girls' is an energetic cast with a 'fetch'ing chemistry that you should see before school lets out. ert Hall?
Mean Girls shares its Broadway DNA with two other movies-turned musicals that also explores these issues,Heathers and Legally Blonde. As Yogi Berra would say, 'it's deja vu all over again'.
