Theatr Clwyd today announces full cast for its Christmas pantomime, Dick Whittington - The Purrrrrfect Rock 'N' Roll Panto. Zoe Waterman directs Royce Cronin (King Rhydian the Rat), Toby Falla (Tomos the Cat), Phylip Harries (Sarah the Cook), Daniel Lloyd (Wally Fitzwarren), Alice McKenna (Scratch/Harriet), Peter Mooney (Dick Whittington), Lynwen Haf Roberts (Sultana), Emmy Stonelake (Alice Fitzwarren), Luke Thornton (Sniff/Tom/Guard) and Anna Westlake (Fairy Betty Bowbells). The production opens at Theatr Clwyd on 27 November, with previews from 23 November, and runs until 19 January 2019.

Artistic Director of Theatr Clwyd, Tamara Harvey, today announces the full cast for the cult rock 'n' roll panto, Sleeping Beauty. Featuring 16 rock and soul songs played live by actor-musicians, Zo Waterman directs Sean McKenzie who leads the company in the role of Dame Tabetha Trott. Joining him making their pantomime debuts will be Britain's Got Talent finalist James Ifan (Simon Steadfast), David Heywood (Mordred) and Emmy Stonelake (Frederica). Completing the cast are Greg Coulson (Domestos), Lynwen Haf Roberts (Morgana), Rowan Talbot (King Camelot), Luke Thornton (Harold The Herald), Elian West (Princess Susie) and Zoe West (Fairy Fanciful).

Seventeen year old Ben Thomas from Swansea is the 2017 Welsh Musical Theatre Young Singer Of The Year. He was awarded the coveted title by Judges Vivien Care, Claire Hammacott and Michael Morwood after a very high standard contest against Kate McKeown, Lynwen Haf Roberts and Grace-Marie Wyatt - all of whom were accompanied by virtuoso pianist, Jeffrey Howard.
