The Golden Age of Broadway, the 1940s and 50s, was an era in which Broadway began flourishing with a crossover between theatre and cinema. The Actors Studio emerged in New York City and inspired artists to work in underground private groups and master classes. The Chain One Act Festival is currently accepting submissions. All performances will take place in their newly renovated 99-seat Off-Broadway theater in the heart of midtown. Original works 10 minutes to 60 minutes in length will be accepted.
