The film tells the story of a small-town community that comes together to fight back against the spread of drugs “by any means necessary”—a story of a group of vigilante townsfolk who take justice into their own hands to fight for the heart of America, and save the next generation from overdosing and dying.

The World Premiere of playwright Paul Fontana's Resurrection of the Ants, directed by Gary Wolf and produced by Michael Abramson (Jekyll and Hyde), opens Friday June 21st at The Hayworth: Upper Level in Los Angeles (2511 Wilshire Blvd. 90057). Resurrection of the Ants plays Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. through July 28th. The price is $25 on Friday and Saturday, $20 on Sunday. A tribute to honor and celebrate the life and career of Ron Palillo, best known as Horshack on 'Welcome Back, Kotter' has been scheduled for Wednesday, October 3, 2012. The 6pm tribute will take place at The Triad Theatre, which is located at 158 West 72nd Street. Palillo died in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., on August, 14, 2012, of a heart attack. Broadway's Tyne Daly, a longtime friend, will host the event.
