Laura Z. Barket

Theatre Nerd Productions was founded by Laura Z. Barket, an Emmy Award® winning, 2x Tony Award® and 2x Grammy Award® nominated producer, mother, widow, and dachshund mom who splits her time between Manhattan and the Hamptons. A self-proclaimed theatre nerd, her earliest Broadway memories include seeing Andrea McCardle in Annie and Yul Brynner in The King and I. Her lifelong love affair with the theatre ultimately led to her work as a producer where she is passionate about sharing stories.

Barket’s first foray into theatre on the other side of the proscenium was as an investor in the 6 time Tony Award®-winning Dear Evan Hansen.
