Tamron Hall Celebrates 500 Episodes of Talk Show

Recently nominated for four Daytime Emmy awards, the nationally syndicated daytime talk show “Tamron Hall” aired its 500th episode today with guest appearances from comedian Arsenio Hall and Tamron’s good friend, actress Kim Fields. Arsenio and Tamron bonded over more than sharing the same last name, they also discussed their mutual love for Prince and the relationship they both had with him, while Fields opened up about the beginning of her longtime friendship with Tamron. The celebratory episode also included a highlight reel featuring top moments from three seasons of “Tamron Hall.”

Lisa Whelchel, who played Blair on 'The Facts of Life,' opens up about her favorite moments working with co-stars Nancy McKeon (Jo), Kim Fields (Tootie) and Mindy Cohn (Natalie) on the classic sitcom.

Opening the night was celebrity contestant Kim Fields and her partner Sasha Farber who danced a Jive to 'You Can't Stop The Beat' from HAIRSPRAY.

Gracie and Rose are two women who fall in love in Wyoming in the late 1950's. Gracie has been passing as a man, George, for some time, in order to do men's work and live the way she feels most authentic. Anastasia Coon presents the full-length Los Angeles premiere of her solo show Gracie and Rose. Los Angeles Writer's Center Director Che'Rae Adams directs the limited run of the full work in development, now through June 28 at Art of Acting LA during the 2013 Hollywood Fringe Festival. The production played 3 nights - July 31, August 1 and August 2 to cheering crowds, but the crazy part is - the final dress is done at 10am, in broad daylight and is open to the public, as the venue is a county-owned facility. People showed up in droves, for the run-through and cheered on the actors, the Hollywood Bowl orchestra and conductor Kevin Stites, who you will see is wearing a black, casual shirt for the rehearsal. The show's director, Richard Jay-Alexander, made a brief speech before the run, welcoming everybody, and in this exclusive footage, I was also able to catch him, in his dressing room, before the Opening Night performance.
