Synopsis: On a yachting holiday from Darwin to Indonesia, five Australians come across a broken-down fishing boat, full of desperate asylum seekers. The Australians decide to help, towing the refugees, but when they wake the next morning the fishing boat is gone. Five years later they meet some of the refugees again and learn the truth. Someone cut the rope between the two boats and, as a result, seven people died when the fishing boat sank. The revelation drives a wedge of mistrust between the Australians, as they grapple with protecting themselves and doing the right thing. The refugees struggle with their desire for justice and, possibly, revenge. Old SECRETS come to light, relationships are SHATTERED and lives are put in danger. And one question hangs over it all - who cut the rope?

The MLS playoff race is heating up! In the Eastern Conference, only 4 points separates the top three teams - with ATLANTA United in first place, and the two New York teams right behind them. The Red Bulls and NYCFC clash at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx with bragging rights on the line.

CARDINALS VS DODGERS (MLB) - Wednesday, 8/22 @ 10:00pm ET on ESPN
The Cardinals are the hottest team in baseball - they enter the week winners of 8 of their last 10, the best record in that stretch of any team in the league. The Dodgers have struggled a bit of late, but both teams still find themselves just on the outside of a wildcard position as they kick off the week with a three game series in LA.

Matchweek 1 of the Bundesliga kicks off this week, with fixtures headlined by a matchup of two of the youngest, most promising players in the league as American wunderkind, 19 year old Christian Pulisic, and Borussia Dortmund host RB Leipzig, lead by 22 year old Timo Werner.

LITTLE LEAGUE WORLD SERIES (LLWS) - Sunday, 8/26 @ 3:00pm ET on ABC
For the past 70+ years, with the end of August also came the end of the Little League baseball season, punctuated by the Little League WORLD SERIES in Williamsport, PA. On Sunday, the best team from the United States will take on the best International team with a chance to be crowned the best Little League team in the world!

CARDINALS VS COWBOYS (NFL) - Sunday, 8/26 @ 8:00pm ET on NBC
The third preseason game is typically the best representation of what we can expect from NFL teams throughout the upcoming regular season. Week 3 of the 2018 preseason features a Sunday Night Matchup of the Cardinals vs Cowboys. Not much controversy at the QB position in Dallas, but will it be Sam Bradford or rookie Josh Rosen controlling the huddle for the cardinals this year?
