From June 10 to 20, Kairos Italy Theater (KIT) presented the 'In Scena! Italian Theater Festival' NY, the first Italian theater festival to take place annually in all five New York City boroughs and beyond. Laura Caparrotti, Artistic Director of KIT and Founding Director of the Festival, reports that attendance was about 800 people throughout this two-week celebration of Italian theater, which was held in intimate venues in all five boroughs. PTC was the first regional theatre to produce Les Mis, in 2007, where it played for 10 sold-out weeks.
