The Neo-Political Cowgirls will be presenting a work-in-process, first launch performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream (As Seen Through The Sleepy Eyes Of A Young Girl) at Mulford Farm, 10 James Lane, East Hampton at 7:30 pm July 28th and 29th, 2022.

Southampton Arts Center is delighted to announce a live reading/production of Love Loss and What I Wore, a play by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron based on the best-selling book by Ilene Beckerman, on Saturday, October 19 at 2 PM and 8 PM. This special theatrical event, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and National Mammogram Day, follows SAC's highly successful 2018 production of The Vagina Monologues with many of the same cast members. Southampton Arts Center today announced its full lineup of fall programming, from September 20 through December 29. Closing out their 7th season, this fall will offer an exciting lineup of programs and two not-to-be missed exhibitions.

The League of Professional Theatre Women (Shellen Lubin and Catherine Porter, Co-Presidents), an organization which has been championing women in the professional theatre for over three decades, will launch their 37th season of programming, events, and advocacy, with a special event on Wednesday, September 25 at Theaterlab (357 West 36th Street, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10018). Pre-reception networking will begin at 6:30pm. The event will officially kick-off at 7pm, followed by post-reception networking from 9pm-9:30pm.

On June 14th at Guild Hall in East Hampton, NY, Andromeda's Sisters presents short plays by women headlining Blythe Danner, Laura Gomez and Catherine Curtin (Orange is the New Black), Susie Essman (Curb Your Enthusiasm), Tamara Tunie (Law & Order) and Ellen Marie Dolan (As The World Turns) among others from playwrights Joy Behar, Lucy Boyle, Julia Jordan, Anna Ziegler, Liana Sonenclar, Margo Hammond and Suzanne Bradbeer.

The compelling three-day journey includes play readings, a private estate fundraiser and an interactive creativity workshop on June 14th 22nd and 23rd which can be enjoyed collectively or individually. The brain child of Kate Mueth who is the founder of the 501 ( c ) 3 company Neo-Political Cowgirls, Andromeda's Sisters is an arts and advocacy forum to create more work for women in theater and to increase the female voice in the narrative of our society's stories. Mueth brings her vibrant, unconventional, mind-expanding magic to the event. This is not your typical write-a-check and have a cocktail fundraiser. Guests will be treated to talented voices of the theater, advocacy, and legal world to expand their horizons and network with fascinating women. This is the uniquely fertile soil where community, arts and advocacy merge to grow both roots and blossoms. And men are most welcome to join in the fun.

TenthPlanet: Planet Connections 10th Annual Theatre Festivity played to packed houses and great acclaim for each production. Another sold out house was achieved for the company's annual 'Playwrights for a Cause' event, this year, benefiting the Ali Forney Center. The banner season culminates with the Planet Awards.
