The Autopoiética Tour will begin on February 29, 2024, in Puebla and continue throughout March through Toluca, Querétaro, Monterrey, Tijuana, Mérida, Guadalajara, and Mexico City. In April, the artist will make the journey South to Central America with shows in Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Costa Rica, and more.

When trumpet great Lester Bowie died in 1999, followers of the Art Ensemble of Chicago couldn't help but wonder whether the legendary quintet, which owed so much to his special and outlandish gifts, would – or should – go on. That it did, in his memory, with no loss of spirit. But the subsequent passing of two other founding members Malachi Favors Maghostut in 2004 and Joseph Jarman in 2019, made it even more difficult to envision a future for the band.

The Philadelphia-based artist Shannen Moser released their third studio album The Sun Still Seems To Move via Lame-O Records. Moser will celebrate the album’s release with shows tonight in Philadelphia at Johnny Brenda’s and on October 7 in Brooklyn, NY at Purgatory with support from Greg Mendez & Yours Are The Only Ears.

Amelia Moore – who has amassed 80 million combined streams since releasing her debut single last October – teams up with ASTN for her very first collaboration with another artist. On the bright, R&B-tinged duet “next door,” they spin a playful story about falling for a new neighbor. The track was produced by Pink Slip, VanRiper and B. Lewis.

Tom Waits will be releasing limited edition vinyl of his albums 'Alice' and 'Blood Money' to commemorate their 20th anniversary. Waits’ official merch store will feature translucent blue for 'Alice' and translucent red for 'Blood Money.’ Other variants will also be available in independent record stores and online.

I Hate Memory, an anti-musical co-starring the streets of New York and the late 20th century, will have its second performance at Joe's Pub on Friday, July 8 at 9:30PM, part of an ongoing bi-monthly series and eventually an album release.

Today, Amelia Moore released her debut EP, teaching a robot to love (Capitol Records), and shared the official video for the track “i feel everything.” Directed by Sam Cannon, the phantasmagorical clip brings to life the EP’s striking cover imagery, with Moore addressing the robotic object of her affection in song. 15-Time Grammy-winning banjo virtuoso Béla Fleck comes to the not-for-profit Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts showcasing a multi-generational gamut of the best of bluegrass players on Sunday, April 10 at 7pm. 

In addition to the talents of Young and White, the song features guitar by Don DeVore (Collapsing Scenery). Young produced it (with additional vocal production by Ainjel Emme) and then co-mixed it with Tony Visconti. Mastering was done by Mike Bozzi at BG Mastering. Listen to the new single now!
