BIO
James C. Harris is a multifaceted singer and actor treading the line between classical and contemporary genres. He has been seen off-Broadway, regionally, and on operatic stages across the country. Recent NY credits include An American Soldier (Perelman PAC NYC), Audrey: The New Musical (The Players Theatre), Secret of the Possible (14th St Y Theatre), Will Wilson Saves the World (Spark Theatre Festival), and Human: A New Ancient Musical and 54 Sings INSIDE at 54 Below. Regional credits include Sunday in the Park with George (Axelrod PAC), Songs for a New World (Limelight Theatre Company) and All Is Calm… (Franklin Theatre Works). Operas include La bohème at Spoleto Festival USA, Oedipus Rex at Opera Philadelphia, and L’enfant et les sortilèges with The Philadelphia Orchestra. James is a proud graduate of Westminster Choir College (BM) and Manhattan School of Music (MM) as well as a member of the Actors’ Equity Association and the American Guild of Musical Artists.
