Theater for the New City has announced the premiere of a new play Rubber, which will run at the historical venue from April 4th through April 21st.

Nutley Little Theatre presents A Christmas Carol by Michael Paller and directed by Rachel Rubin Ladutke. In Michael Paller's unique adaptation of A CHRISTMAS CAROL, renowned author Charles Dickens is visited by the spirit of himself as a young boy.  When The Child demands a story, Dickens is struck with inspiration.  He summons his family and friends, who have gathered for Christmas Eve dinner, up to his attic studio and enlists their help in performing the tale that is weaving his way through his brain.  And so the story unfolds, with the cast of nine playing more than 40 roles.

'MARVELS,' a new Marvel fictional podcast series from Stitcher and Marvel New Media premieres TOMORROW, November 20th 2019. The 10-episode series, which will air weekly exclusively on Stitcher Premium, takes place in the aftermath of the Fantastic Four's battle with Galactus, high above New York City, for the fate of the world. One intrepid photographer, an ambitious college student, and a cynical journalist embark on an investigation to confirm or debunk one of the most super-powered conspiracy theories of all time.

Following an initial reading presentation in March 2018, Luna and the Gold River Docks, a musical by Eric Dietz inspired by the documentary The Whale by Michael Parfit and Suzanne Chisholm, will present two developmental reading presentations on Tuesday, November 5 at 11:30am and Wednesday, November 6 at 11am, by invitation only.

Casting Society of America, as part of its ongoing 'Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion in Casting Initiative,' will sponsor a Town Hall conversation for Native American and Indigenous Actors. The Initiative is a series of conversations and classes designed to effect concrete change in how actors in historically underrepresented communities are afforded access to job opportunities.

Kid Danger (Jace Norman) and Captain Man (Cooper Barnes) will face their biggest challenge ever in Nickelodeon's hour-long episode, Henry Danger The Musical, airing Saturday, July 27, at 8:00 pm (ET/PT). The special, which features 26 original Broadway-style songs, marks the return of the villainous Frankini (Frankie Grande) who puts a musical curse over the town of Swellview, while Kid Danger and Captain Man are forced to find a way to stop him.

Play On Shakespeare today announces an expansive list of compelling actors and dynamic directors confirmed to participate in the Play on! Festival, presented in association with Classic Stage Company (CSC) and Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF). Play on! features 39 readings of new, work-in-progress translations of Shakespeare's plays into contemporary modern English by some of today's most exciting playwrights-May 29-June 30 at the Lynn F. Angelson Theater at CSC (136 E. 13th Street). In 2015, Oregon Shakespeare Festival launched an ambitious 39-play, three-year commissioning project, Play on!, tasking 36 playwrights-more than half of whom were women and playwrights of color, each paired with a dramaturg-to translate Shakespeare's canon in celebration of the enduring impact of the Bard's work. Supported by a generous grant from the Hitz Foundation and inspired by long-time patron Dave Hitz's passion for Shakespeare, the project was and continues to be led by Lue Morgan Douthit. Nickelodeon's Henry Danger, the number-one live-action show on TV with K2-11 and K6-11 (through 11/28/18), will pass the 100-episode mark, with an additional ten-episode pickup announced today. The order brings the series' total to 117, making HENRY DANGER Nickelodeon's longest-running live-action sitcom. Nickelodeon is currently airing HENRY DANGER season five.
