FOX Entertainment’s first wholly owned live-action comedy, ANIMAL CONTROL is an all-new single-camera workplace series that follows a group of local ANIMAL CONTROL workers whose lives are complicated by the fact that animals are simple, but humans are not.

FOX Entertainment has renewed workplace comedy Animal Control, starring Emmy Award nominee Joel McHale, for a second season, it was announced by Michael Thorn, President of Scripted Programming, FOX Entertainment. The single-camera show, FOX’s first wholly owned live-action comedy.

Co-created, co-written and starring sisters Eve and Grace Palmer along with co-creator/co-writer Nick Schaedel, the six-episode comedy series is set in small New Zealand town and follows two millennial sisters with very different personalities who inherit a funeral home from their grandfather.

Good Grief follows the life of Ellie and Gwen Goode, played by real-life sisters Eve and Grace Palmer, as they work at a funeral home. By staring death in the face every day, Ellie and Gwen begin to confront the realities of their own life, and what they want to make of it. Good Grief finds light in the darkness, weaving both the comedy and tragedy of life into a rich emotional tapestry.

On The Spot, the 'always new' musical comedy show, is running every Monday night, live-streamed (via Zoom) on YouTube. Running Off-Broadway every week since 2015, the show is thrilled to be able to help keep comedy and the arts alive in this difficult time.

The 2019 NY Indie Theatre Film Festival opens tonight, February 8 at 7pm, with the NY festival premiere of Poor Behavior (2016), written by Theresa Rebeck. Based on her play of the same name, Ms. Rebeck (upcoming spy thriller 355, Broadway's Bernhardt/Hamlet, NBC's 'Smash') makes her film directorial debut with this dark, dysfunctional comedy. Rebeck will participate in a talkback after the screening, moderated by Marc Stuart Weitz, New Ohio Theatre's Producing Director.
