Geoff Rich Biography
Geoff Rich has been a theater and radio producer since the mid-1970's. His Broadway producing credits include Avenue Q (Tony Award, Best Musical, 2004) and Barefoot in the Park (2006). Geoff became Executive Director of The New Group in 2002 following a 22-year career in radio. As Executive Director of The New Group, he produced over 40 plays off-Broadway from 2002-13 including Avenue Q (2003), Aunt Dan and Lemon (2004), HurlyBurly (2005), Things We Want (2007), The Starry Messenger (2009), The Kid (2010), Russian Transport (2012) and The Jacksonian (2013). In 2014, Geoff received, along with Beth Henley, the Michael Mendelson Award for Outstanding Contribution to Theater. Since 2003, Geoff has been the President of the Board of Trustees of Princeton Summer Theater, a not-for-profit student-run organization affiliated with Princeton University.Geoff Rich News
