G.D. Kimble is an actor, director, dramaturg, and playwright currently living in NYC. He has worked in scores of theatres across the nation, including his native Louisiana.

He is a graduate of the Shakespeare & Co. Training Institute in Lenox, MA, holds a BA in theatre performance from Louisiana State University, and an MFA in acting from the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, CA.

?Samovar Subway Ensemble has announced a Hollywood Fringe Festival production of The Gentrification Cycle, two short plays written by G.D. Kimble and directed by Christina Cigala. Jen Tries Vacation and Locomotive Repair in Three Easy Steps will feature (in alphabetical order) Jon Gentry, Emily McLeod, Suzan Mikiel, Adam Tomei, Brian Wallace, Claire Winters, and Allison Youngberg. There will be five performances at the Dorie Theatre @ The Complex in Hollywood - Friday 6/3 at 7:30pm (press preview); Thursday 6/9 at 9pm; Thursday 6/16 at 7pm; Thursday 6/23 at 10:30pm; and Friday 6/24 at 6:45pm. Total running time will be 70 minutes.

59E59 Theaters will welcome the St. Louis Actors' Studio?with the NYC premiere of their acclaimed LaBUTE NEW THEATER FESTIVAL, an evening of one-act plays featuring new plays by Neil LaBute, Lexi Wolfe, Peter Grandbois & Nancy Bell, G.D. Kimble, JJ Strong, and John Doble. Directed by Milton Zoth and John Pierson, the LaBUTE NEW THEATER FESTIVAL begins performances on Wednesday, January 13 for a limited engagement through Sunday, February 7.  Press opening is Sunday, January 17 at 7:30 PM.  The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:30 PM; Friday at 8:30 PM; Saturday at 2:30 PM & 8:30 PM; and Sunday at 3:30 PM & 7:30 PM. Everyday Inferno to Host Evening of One-Act Plays IF ON A WINTER'S NIGHT..., 12/5-8


If on a Winter's Night…, Everyday Inferno's inaugural winter production of one-act plays directed by women, will play a week-long engagement from December 5th through December 8th, 2013 at the Access Theatre Gallery (380 Broadway, NYC 10013). The three plays featured in the evening are Jen Tries Vacation - written by G.D. Kimble (LaBute New Theatre Festival) and directed by Ana?s Koivisto (Artistic Director, Everyday Inferno), People Will Talk About You Sometimes - written by Sarah Matusek and directed by Taylor Reynolds, and The Policy - written by A.C. DeLashmutt and directed by Katherine Sommer (Producing Director, Everyday Inferno).
