Emily Rose Simons BIO

Emily Rose Simons is a London-born/ New York based composer and musical theatre writer. She is currently a student on the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program at Tisch, NYU and received her BA in music and her MA in composition from the Univeristy of Bristol. Emily’s first musical, Confessions of a Rabbi’s Daughter has enjoyed performances in London, the Edinburgh Fringe and the Times Square Arts Center. Emily was a finalist for the 2015 Stiles and Drewe Songwriting Award in London with her writing partner, Kate Ingber. Emily is also the composer for Larry Yates’ Golden Bird, which will be having it’s world premier at Thespis Theater Festival in New York.
