Broadway Producer David Richenthal admitted in a settlement with the office of the New York State Attorney General to using the family's charity assets to pay for personal expenses, including travel. In total, he confessed to stealing up to $500,000. Additionally, he made a large grant using his family's foundation funds as a settlement with a former romantic partner.

The even twas chaired by CharLes Davis, HAllie Foote, David Richenthal and Michael Wilson, and featured performances and tributes by Elizabeth Ashley, Harriet Harris, Jayne Houdyshell, Estelle Parsons (pictured, left) and Molly Ringwald. The production, formerly scheduled for The Wild Project, will instead be presented at Soho Rep's Walkerspace, 46 Walker Street. The new opening night is set for Monday, January 21 at 8pm.
