BIO

David Campbell created song arrangements, dance arrangements, underscoring, orchestrations (for 19 musicians) and vocal/choral arrangements. You may have heard his arrangements on any of 425 gold or platinum albums, from artists such as Paul McCartney, Michael Jackson, Radiohead, Elton John, Leonard Cohen, Beck, The Rolling Stones, Johnny Cash, Beyonce, Avril Lavigne, Metallica, The Mars Volta, Evanescence, Will Smith, Ricky Martin, Faith Hill, Manhattan Transfer, Macy Gray and Maroon 5. Some of the well-known songs include “Time of Your Life”(Green Day), “Iris”(Goo Goo Dolls), “Uninvited”(Alanis Morissette), “Because of You”(Kelly Clarkson), “A 100 Years”(Five for Fighting) and “The Rose”(Bette Midler). Film credits as arranger/conductor include the scores of Dream Girls, Rent, Brokeback Mountain(Oscar for Best Score), Tarzan (Oscar for Best Song), Spider-Man 2, Austin Powers, City of Angels, Dead Man Walking, and Cradle Will Rock. Campbell has composed music for Sony, IBM and Panasonic TV commercials and several feature films. He has guest conducted the LA Philharmonic, Tokyo Philharmonic and the Dallas, Baltimore, Nashville and Melbourne Symphonies. Recent projects include Josh Groban, Adele, Adam Lambert and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. David is married to theatrical composer Raven Kane.
