Review: HENRY V at Southwest Shakespeare Company
by Cheyenne Lewis - Feb 17, 2026
Wars of the past are viewed by many as a necessary evil, and certain battles are even thought of as glorious or grand. This perspective overlooks the lives lost on both sides, the trauma so many soldiers have faced throughout history, and that many still face today. Southwest Shakespeare Company’s production of HENRY V takes a nuanced look at the play, the worth of war, and the horrors of battle.

BWW Review: ALL THIS INTIMACY IS A Brilliant, Must-See at Desert Ensemble Theatre
by Audrey Liebross - Mar 29, 2022
The latest extraordinary piece of theatre -- another must-see -- that I have had the privilege to attend is Desert Ensemble Theatre's production of Rajiv Joseph's ALL THIS INTIMACY, playing for one more weekend (April 1st to 3rd). The play has plenty of laughs, but it is not a comedy. It tells the story of a college professor who has impregnated three different women, and the fallout from this unintended happening.

BWW Review: TUMULUS, Soho Theatre
by Cindy Marcolina - Apr 19, 2019
The corpse of a young man is found dead on the Tumulus on Hampstead Heath. Then, another one. Both are immediately linked to the city's chemsex scene but Anthony thinks something else is going on, so he sets off on a personal investigation that spans parties and intimacy in Christopher Adams' play.

BWW Review: OPEN, VAULT Festival
by Cindy Marcolina - Jan 28, 2019
Christopher Adams and Timothy Allsop draw on their real-life experience to paint a vivid picture of an open couple. They tell their tale aided by the audience, who are called on multiple times to read transcripts from their conversations, Grindr messages, and personal texts from the pair.
