CARRIE MADSEN (She|Her|Hers) studied drama at UC Santa Cruz- member of Tom Lehrer's Musical Ensemble- and UC Irvine- two consecutive years in the musical theatre intensive at ABT studios in NYC.

In her middle years she worked in the SF Bay Area as a choreographer and dance teacher - only occasionally performing - until twelve years ago when she chose to join Equity and work professionally onstage. Regional: CABARET (5thAvenue, Ordway), WHITE CHRISTMAS, SISTERS OF SWING (Sierra Repertory), BREATHE (NBTF), FUNNY GIRL, A CHORUS LINE (AMTSJ) and MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG (Theatreworks) among others.

Since moving to LA 8 years ago she’s been a recurring character on JANE THE VIRGIN, GOOD GIRLS REVOLT, GILMORE GIRLS, & THE LATE LATE SHOW WITH JAMES CORDEN, plus other TV appearances and indie films. She regularly works for Netflix dubbing foreign language content.

Recent LA Stage Credits include the World Premiere of GLASS CEILINGS (Senator) at Rockwell Table and Stage, WORLD GOES ROUND (Socialite) at Actor’s Co-Op, and IT HAPPENED AT ROSWELL (Mabel) at NMI.

Coeurage Ensemble and the LA LGBT Center Present RENT in Concert This Month


Coeurage Ensemble, LA's Pay What You Want performance company, in association with the Los Angeles LGBT Center, has announced Rent: In Concert for two shows only on Saturday, March 18, at 8pm, and Sunday, March 19, at 2pm.
