Internationally acclaimed pianist, master teacher, chamber musician, conductor, and vocal coach Warren Jones, comes to the Curtis Institute of Music, February 13–17, 2023, for a highly-anticipated artist residency featuring a private master class in collaboration with Curtis’s distinguished vocal studies and piano studies departments led by Miloš Repický, Hirsig Family Chair in Vocal Studies and Amy Yang, associate dean of piano studies and artistic initiatives.

iSing Silicon Valley begins 10th anniversary season celebrations with Holiday Memories—two festive concerts on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 2:00pm and 4:30pm at Mission Santa Clara de Asís in Santa Clara, California. iSing—the award-winning choral program that brings together over 300 girls from diverse cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds—will look back on ten years of song with traditional and contemporary carols and new works including the world premiere performance of chorea lucis by Kenyon Duncan.

Continuing with the technological innovations made during the pandemic, digital master classes and events by world-class artists open the doors of the Conservatory to anyone watching around the world.
Mid afternoon, our tour group meets on the Magic Opera Flying Carpet at Los Angeles Airport (LAX). We watch LA Opera’s digital short entitled Gallup, or Na'nízhoozhí in Navajo. The scene incorporates the high desert New Mexico landscape and the city famed for Navajo jewelry. Tour members should wear the biggest and best turquoise they have for the show!
Battery Dance celebrates the 40th Anniversary of its free summer festival from August 12-20, 2021, in partnership with Battery Park City Authority. The 40th Annual Battery Dance Festival features 16 international dance films from August 12-14 at 7pm ET via YouTube. 40 in-person and livestreamed performances will be staged at Robert F. Wagner, Jr. Park, New York City, from August 15-20 at 7pm ET. In total, 32 premieres by 53 dance companies are offered to international audiences, promoting Battery Dance’s mission of connecting the world through dance.

ICSC emphasizes competitive collegiate singing that spans across borders. We seek to recognize and award the best singers from around the world who are currently enrolled in or a recent graduated of an undergraduate or graduate program in voice. There will be a First, Second, and Third Place prize awarded. The winners will be selected based on talent, potential, and overall presentation. All voice types will be judged equally. All performances and adjudication is done via a simple online process.

The 2017 Schwabacher Debut Recitals series concludes on Sunday, April 30 at 5:30 p.m., with a recital by a trio of San Francisco Opera Adler Fellows featured with collaborative pianist Warren Jones in a program of Italian and French repertoire.
