Berkshire Theatre Group (BTG) and Kate Maguire (Artistic Director, CEO) have announced casting for two of its summer 2023 shows: Million Dollar Quartet, a three-time Tony Award–nominated once-in-a-lifetime musical evening back by popular demand with some of the same cast as 2017 and Photograph 51, an intriguing portrait of the race to discover the mysteries of the DNA double helix. 

Beginning June 8, 2023, Fort Gansevoort will present Play The Hand That’s Dealt You, the first New York solo exhibition of Alabama-based artist Yvonne Wells.

Held in the historic 1930s-style auditorium at Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (ISBVI), the performance will be preceded by a pre-concert reception featuring local jazz artist, Reggie Bishop, and a meal from the Jazz Kitchen — all of which is included with the price of admission.

ELVIS THE KING, a musical tribute to the King of Rock and Roll, one of the greatest entertainers of all time - Elvis Presley, is coming to Cheney Hall on May 12. 

The follow-up to his acclaimed 2021 tribute album which once again finds the saxophonist reimagining the songs of the Grateful Dead with his gritty and soulful Detroit sound joined by guests including Oteil Burbridge, Bob James, Jamey Johnson, Greg Leisz, and Don Was. Bruce Clough returns to Don’t Tell Mama with From Out of the Blues, a timely, therapeutic celebration of blues music.

Sea Gypsies are a three-piece blues fusion band with a repertoire of around sixty numbers which they perform in their own arrangements. The band consists of: Tammy Joe Stewart (guitar, vocals) Jim Williams (bass, vocals) and Dave Samwell (drums, cajon). They don’t just do blues covers but rearrange numbers completely.

The fully renovated State Theatre New Jersey presents Classic R&B Spectacular with The Spinners, Sonny Bivins Manhattans, The Trammps featuring Earl Young, and Parker J on Friday, April 14 at 7:30pm. Tickets range from $39-$89.  

Divas of Soul starring CeCe Teneal will be coming to Centenary Stage Company on March 18 at 8:00pm. This performance will take place in The Sitnik Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center on the campus of Centenary University.
