BIO

Musical theatre composer. Graduated from New York University (Master of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre Writing) and the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (Bachelor of Music (Honours)).

Musical adaptation of Grave of the Fireflies was nominated for Best Musical Score at the 2023 Hong Kong Drama Awards. Other works include Hong Kong After Midnight and Elevator of Memories.

Original musical publishing titles include Future (Mama’s Affair), 1941 Girl and Tale of the Southern Sky.

A musical adaptation of Grave of the Fireflies by Akiyuki Nosaka, came to Kaohsiung Weiwuying, Playhouse last week. The story dives into a war-torn Japan where Seita, a 15 year old boy tries everything in his power to take care of his 5 year old sister Setsuko whilst battling the death of their parents.
