Opera Orlando launches its 10th Anniversary Season with a brand new production of Puccini's La Bohème, reimagined in 1930s Shanghai (aka “Paris of the east”) by artistic director Grant Preisser. This passionate, timeless, and indelible story of love among young artists, stands as the world’s most popular opera with soaring melodies and passion that will leave you searching for a kleenex.

Soprano Bizhou Chang and tenor Yi Li lead a star-studded cast as Mimì and Rodolfo, alongside Seunghyeon Baek as Marcello and Ruoxi Bian as Musetta. Conductor Allan R. Scott makes his company debut leading the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, accompanied by the Opera Orlando Chorus and Youth Company.
