Presents Sweethearts the 1913 comic operetta 4/30 & 5/1 VHRP Live!s last performance of our 2018-19 season will be Victor Herberts Sweethearts, on Tuesday, April 30th and Wednesday, May 1 at Christ & St. Stephens Church, 120 W 69th Street, Manhattan. Political Intrigue! Shenanigans! VHRP LIVE! closes its Fifth Season with the classic 1913 operetta Sweethearts, in which a handsome prince is about to take a throne, a lost princess is found, international politicians maneuver. Plus: On Parade, Sweethearts, For Every Lover Must Meet His Fate, Jeannette and Her Little Wooden Shoes, and In the Convent They Never Taught Me That! A Herbert love operetta at its best, respectfully revised by Alyce Mott. The New Victor Herbert Orchestra (NVHO) supports the company at this final show of the season.VHRPLive! comprises a core group of classically trained singers who perform regularly in well regarded classical music venues in New York City, nationally and internationally.
