A Competition-Battle of the Plays

Aug 21 & 22nd 8pm & Aug 23rd 7pm

Our 15-minute playwrights, actors, and directors will be presenting the very best of over 500 plays — and the winner will be decided by you, the audience.

The winning production will have the opportunity to develop their 15-minute short play into a full production, to be presented and produced by Lucky’s Lighting Inc. and Gail Thacker w/ 24 Bond Arts Center at the Gene Frankel Theatre.

The winner will be announced following our final performance on Saturday night, August 23rd, followed by a gala celebration.

These festivals are presented in honor of Gene Frankel’s Summer Festival in August at The Gene Frankel Theatre & Film Workshop, and Gail Thacker’s Shotgun Theatre Festival at the Gene Frankel Theatre — where the audience vote tradition began!

This is our 3rd year of 15 Minutes of Frame, a playwrights’ competition held every August at the Gene Frankel Theatre. We look forward to this year’s competition and to welcoming our growing community.
