The Common Tongue presents Regal & Raucous At The Foundry 10/1

By: Sep. 27, 2010

On Friday, October 1 The Common Tongue will present Regal and Raucous, a celebration in support of their upcoming November production of new works, featuring amazing performances, incredible prizes, fantastic music, delicious food and drink, and some slightly questionable dancing. The fundraising event will be held at The Foundry, located at 218 East 25th Street in Manhattan.

Regal... From 6:30pm - 8:30pm, come dressed to impress and enjoy schmancy entertainment, delicious catered hors d'oeuvres, wine, Brooklyn Brewery beer, and cocktails. After 8:30pm, stay as long as you like! At 6:45pm, you will be privy to a Sneak Peek of Bronwen Prosser's The Make-Out Queen from Common Tongue's upcoming November production of new works. Unique and fabulous prizes exclusively for this set will be raffled off periodically.

Raucous... From 8:30pm - 11:30pm, dress up to get down and enjoy too-good-to-be-true performances by amazing local artists, including Lucas Carpenter, Chris Batstone, and Blow!, as well as free wine and Brooklyn Brewery beer at the bar. End the night dancing holes into your good party shoes. A less fancy but equally cool raffle will be held at the end of the night.

Tickets to Regal are $50 and must be purchased in advance before midnight on September 30. Tickets to Raucous are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Advance tickets may be purchases online via PayPal at www.tctnyc.org. Group discounts are also available, email developmentdirector@tctnyc.org for more information.
