MOTHER ran for five months in Los Angeles and was a 2009 LA WEEKLY BEST SOLO PERFORMANCE nominee  as well as a 2010 OVATION recommended show by LA Stage Alliance.

MOTHER... She's with you wherever you go. One daughter's hilarious and touching journey to find herself, even with her mother's apron strings tethered around her neck. A true tale about an extraordinary Irish-Catholic mother and a complicated relationship that will take you on a roller-coaster ride from survival to forgiveness  and all the insane and life-affirming moments in between.

Cheryl King, director of Stage Left Studio, and co-producer Cheryl Smallman, present Mama Drama. Fourteen performers from a wide variety of backgrounds share their solo shows and plays in this amazing new festival, which runs Oct 13-23, 2010. Multiple points of view about motherhood will be presented, by some mothers, some daughters and sons, and some interested bystanders.  MAMA DRAMA FESTIVAL :Motherhood - the Good, the Bad, and the Unbelievable. Come to Stage Left between October 13 and 23, and find out what it's all about.
