MOTHER... She's with you wherever you go. One daughter's hilarious and touching journey to find herself, even with her mother's apron strings tethered around her neck. A true tale about an extraordinary Irish-Catholic mother and a complicated relationship that will take you on a roller-coaster ride from survival to forgiveness and all the insane and life-affirming moments in between.
Cheryl King, director of Stage Left Studio, and co-producer Cheryl Smallman, present Mama Drama. Fourteen performers from a wide variety of backgrounds share their solo shows and plays in this amazing new festival, which runs Oct 13-23, 2010. Multiple points of view about motherhood will be presented, by some mothers, some daughters and sons, and some interested bystanders.
