Den Norske Opera presents Sleeping Beauty, a new classic full-length ballet by Christian Spuck. Dancing on toes to Tchaikovsky in a fanciful version of the fairytale.

Verdi's opera is about this dramatic event in world history and the events leading up to it. If you enjoy Victorian dresses, grand chorus scenes and classic set design with a maritime theme, this performance is just for you!

Saleem Ashkar comes to Den Norske Opera this month as part of the Piano Series. The performance is set for April 30, 2023.

This fairytale ballet has impressive dancing, humor and great music. In the center stands the dreamer Cinderella , who is tormented by her stepsisters but is brave enough to stand up to them, and who goes to the ball and falls head over heels in love with the prince.

Much to the dismay of his parents. Besides, Stasi is the one he should be marrying. But Sylva is undeterred by prejudice, class difference or ingrained attitudes.  

Paul Lewis visits the Main Stage twice during the season, in connection with his international tour - which includes all of Schubert's piano sonatas.  The performance is on November 27.
