U.S. Army Field Band Returns To The Capitol Center For The Arts

The acclaimed U.S. Army Field Band & Solder's Chorus, the musical ambassadors of the Army,  will perform at the Capitol Center for the Arts (Concord, NH) on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at 7:30PM.  They will perform the "The Army Story," which brings audience members the music that has had a large impact on American culture and the perception of soldiers' lives and sacrifices. Through musical and visual elements, "The Army Story" reminds Americans of the contributions, service and sacrifice of our soldiers. This performance is part of the free 2018-'19 William H. Gile Concert Series.  
Comedian Paul Reiser At The Capitol Center For The Arts this April

Philip Himberg Named New Executive Director of MacDowell

Himberg comes to MacDowell from The Sundance Institute where he has served as the artistic director for Sundance Institute's Theatre Program, expanding the program significantly by providing year-round support for theatre artists, creating international labs for the development of talent and transforming it into one of the pre-eminent play development organizations in the world.

Every year Hatbox Theatre holds an annual Pitch Night for producers interested in being part of our upcoming season. Groups are given two minutes to pitch their project for the upcoming season (September through August) of Hatbox Theatre. Hatbox is all about live performance, so we ask that pitches be focused on that aspect, but any discipline is welcome to pitch: music, theatre, cabaret, dance, magic, variety, burlesque, comedy, improv, poetry/spoken word, game shows, whatever!

Tony Award Winner Cady Huffman will direct the Weathervane Theatre's production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time as part of season 54. Based on  the novel by Mark Haddon and adapted by Simon Stephens, Curious Incident premiered in London at the National Theatre before transferring to Broadway where it was awarded the 2015 Tony Award for Best Play. Curious Incident joins the alternating on August 12. Casting and creative team info will be announced in the coming weeks.
