No one is born to be a failure. No one is poor who has friends. Simple thoughts that were the inspiration for one of the richest, most uplifting, most beloved American films ever made. Frank Capra's classic tale of George Bailey and his Christmas Eve visit with a guardian angel was nominated for five Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actor. After 68 years, it remains as powerful and moving as the day it was made.

For one night only, starting at 8pm on Saturday October 25th, some of the best talent from the Seacoast and beyond will present musical selections -- any musical selections -- in By Request. With the additions Music Hall fan favorite Paula Poundstone, returning to The Historic Theater with her unique brand of observational humor, to up and coming singer songwriter Sinkane making his first appearance at the Loft with his mix of afro beats, infectious pop, and through provoking lyrics, this season has something for everyone. Tickets for these shows go on sale first to Music Hall members Saturday, October 4 and are on sale to non-members starting Saturday October 18.
