Director Elaine Gatchell is holding open auditions for Leddy's 2015 summer musical production of Broadway's first Rock Musical "Bye Bye Birdie", on Saturday, Feb. 21.

Men, women, teens, and pre-teens of all ages are needed for this wonderful Broadway musical! Leading roles are Conrad Birdie, Kim, Albert, Rose, Helen, Ursula, Doris MacAfee, Harry MacAfee, Mae Peterson, Hugo Peabody, several policemen, mayor, mayor's wife, Mrs Merkle, Randolf MacAfee (preteen brother who sings harmony), Nancy, Gloria Rasputin, Mr. Johnson, Maude's dishwasher (2nd tenor), Maude's first customer (baritone), Maud's second customer (bass), Alice (mayor's daughter), Margie, Trainman, Fred, Lee, Phyllis, Penelope, many parents, train conductor, Conrad's guitar man, (non-speaking), reporters, Doctor, teen boys and teen girl dancers!

Please come with your resume, head shot, and prepared to sing a short number from the show. To set up an audition time please call Leddy Center at 603-679-2781, M-F, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The box office will be closed December 31 to January 2nd for the New Year's holiday.

Rehearsals begin April 26, 2015, and are on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00pm and Sundays at 1:00pm. Shows are July 10 through July 26 for three weekends, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm, Sundays at 2:00 pm and two Wednesday matinees at 2:00pm. Auditions are held at Leddy Center theater on Ladd's Lane in Epping, NH.

Leddy Center is celebrating its 40th Season of bringing Broadway musicals and classic drama to our greater communities as a non-profit 501c3 NH Arts and Education Organization.
