PB Poetry Festival To Feature Three State Poets Laureate At 14th Annual Festival In Delray Beach

Billy and Me , a new play by Terry Teachout , author of the acclaimed Satchmo at the Waldorf , will receive its world premiere on December 8 at Palm Beach Dramaworks. 'A work of fiction freely based on fact,' the play speculates on the tempestuous friendship between playwrights Tennessee Williams and William Inge . PBD Producing Artistic Director William Hayes , who suggested the idea to Teachout, directs the premiere, which runs through December 31, with specially priced previews on December 6 and 7.

OnTuesday, January 9, the multi-talented, three-time Tony Award nominee comes to Palm Beach Dramaworks to take part in the popular series Dramalogue Talking Theatre! Duncan will appear live, onstage with Sheryl Flatow, to discuss her fascinating, 60-year career that began in a summer production of The King and I in Dallas when she was 12.
