Mad Cat Theatre Company Presents VARRY HARRY

Mad Cat Theatre Company continues its 18th season with a musical review!

Inspired by Harry Nilsson's 1971 television special for the BBC entitled The Music of Nilsson, his unreleased documentary Did Somebody Drop His Mouse? and the documentary A Touch of Schmillson in the Night, Mad Cat Theatre Company illuminates the songs of the Grammy Award Winning troubadour Harry Nilsson. An intimate evening inside the studio of a man trying to organize his life by creating the perfect set list. Join Mad Cat for this fly on the wall experience.

Erik Fabregat, long time veteran of South Florida stage and television and Mad Cat Company member navigates the role of Harry throughout the 3-week run.

Harry Nilsson's name elicits instant recognition or a "Harry who?" from most American audiences. Mad Cat proposes a simulacrum based on his studio life as Harry Nilsson never toured or performed in front of a live audience.

Mr. Nilsson, was the composer of such musical works as Popeye: The Movie, The Point! and Nilsson Schmilsson, to name a few. He was probably best known for enlightening other composer's songs such as "Everybody's Talkin" written by Fred Neil and from the Oscar-winning Picture Midnight Cowboy and "Without You", composed by Badfinger.

Due to restricted rights of images regarding Mr. Nilsson and any original album artwork or previously published photos of Harry Nilsson of ASCAP, and BMI, we respectfully request only using images specifically provided to you by Mat Cat.

"MAD CAT THEATRE COMPANY performs Varry Harry : An intimate encounter of music by Harry Nilsson." is made possible by ASCAP, & BMI.
