The LA Phil makes its Soraya debut led by Domingo Hindoyan, newly appointed music director of LA Opera, with soprano Sonya Yoncheva. The program features the world premiere of an LA Phil-commissioned song cycle, Mistralianas, by Venezuelan-Chilean composer Miguel Farías, paired with Barber's Medea's Dance of Vengeance and Dvořák's Ninth Symphony.
