Audra McDonald — winner of an Emmy Award, two GRAMMY® Awards and a record-setting six Tony Awards — returns to Los Angeles and will make her debut at The Soraya in a not-to-be-missed concert. Pronounced by Time magazine as “the greatest living stage actor,” McDonald received her first three Tony Awards before the age of 30 for her Best Featured Actress roles in the Broadway revival of Carousel and the premieres of Master Class and Ragtime; she most recently headlined the Broadway revival of Gypsy in her Tony-nominated role as Mama Rose (2024–25). McDonald reprised her Tony-winning and Olivier-nominated Best Actress role as Billie Holiday for the HBO film special of Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill, which also earned her a fourth Emmy nomination. Currently, she can be seen in Julian Fellowes’ historical drama “The Gilded Age” on HBO.
