Conductor Carlos Miguel Prieto returns to lead the Colburn Orchestra in a program featuring Márquez's Danzón No. 2, Kevin Puts' Marimba Concerto, Falla's The Three-Cornered Hat, and Giménez's La Boda de Luis Alonso o La Noche del Encierro. Mert Yalniz conducts Danzón No. 2, with Edric Salazar on marimba and Guadalupe Paz as mezzo-soprano. The concert marks the start of the Colburn Orchestra's season, showcasing young Colburn Conservatory musicians alongside the celebrated conductor.
