BritWeek Film & TV Summit
In Association with the British Academy of Film and Television Arts/Los Angeles
Maximizing Success in the UK & US

Friday, April 23 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills

Following the success of the highly acclaimed 2009 Filmmakers Forum Over There, BritWeek is pleased to present a new program for the entertainment industry in 2010. With a focus on maximizing success in the US and across the pond, the day-long Summit will feature insightful discussions on current topics and explore the challenges and opportunities from both creative and business perspectives in the two most globally successful filmmaking clusters in the world: Britain and Hollywood.

Each session will be led by a panel of US and UK entertainment industry leaders, and will invite Q&A and audience participation. Panelists will explore a range of topics, including opportunities in the UK for film and TV content creators, resources for UK filmmakers in the US, scripted and reality programming trends and the reasons British projects succeed or fail in the US and vice versa. The Summit will provide a welcoming environment in which to network and establish valuable new connections with likeminded filmmakers and business executives from the film, television and digital media worlds.
