U.S. Symphonic Premiere of CHILDREN OF EDEN plays the Kansas City Music Hall July 15-24. As a very special companion piece to the production, the producers will present an evening of the works of legendary CHILDREN OF EDEN songwriter Stephen Schwartz. This July 18th gala concert event will include musical performances from the multi-award winning author's entire body of works, including PIPPIN, GODSPELL and WICKED. The evening will feature some of Broadway's top talents, Kansas City theatre veterans and the composer himself.

On May 25, the curtain will open on a new chapter for the Alhambra Theatre & Dining as veteran actor Barry Williams - aka Greg Brady of the famed 1970's TV series, The Brady Bunch - stars in the Alhambra's first-ever production of Neil Simon's The Odd Couple. The 2009 Drama Desk Award winner and 2010 Bistro Award winner Celebrity Autobiography performs Monday, May 16 at 7:30pm at New York's Triad Theater, 158 West 72 Street, with a cast that is scheduled to include Roger Bart, Mario Cantone, Illeana Douglas, Rachel Dratch, Laraine Newman, Eugene Pack, Dayle Reyfel, and Alan Zweibel.

McCarter Theatre presents Sleeping Beauty Wakes, a new musical featuring a book by Rachel Sheinkin (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), and a score by composer Brendan Milburn and lyricist Valerie Vigoda, both of the acclaimed trio GrooveLily. The production, which runs through June 5, is directed by Rebecca Taichman, who delighted McCarter audiences with her 2009 production of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night.
