Northport's oldest theatre group, The Minstrel Players Theatre Company of Northport, prepare for their 9th Holiday production at Houghton Hall - Trinity Episcopal Church, 130 Main Street in scenic Northport Village. They are the first to stage Charles Dickens' classic in this are, 'A Christmas Carol', and are happy to continue this Northport Village holiday tradition as only The Minstrel Players can do it! Performances are one weekend only tonight, December 12th and Saturday, December 13th at 8 P.M. and a 3 P.M. matinee on Sunday, December 14th.

GREY GARDENS Set for Bay Street Theater's 2015 Mainstage Season

Bay Street Theater has announced one of the three productions planned for the 2015 Mainstage Season. The season begins on May 26 and runs through August 30. The third production of the summer will be the musical GREY GARDENS, running from July 28 - August 30, with book by Doug Wright, music by Scott Frankel, and lyrics by Michael Korie. Casting and the creative team will be announced soon. The show is currently only available as part of a 2015 Mainstage Season Subscription, which are available by calling the Box Office at ?631-725-9500 or online at www.baystreet.org.

The Long Island Musical Theatre Festival is a non-profit program dedicated to producing a full-length musical with a professional orchestra in two weeks. During that time, students receive training from industry professionals while being surrounded by peers who share the same passion and skill set. Students will have the opportunity to work with a Broadway guest artist, discuss resume building, and learn audition techniques. Beth Leavel and Gregg Barnes were this year's Master Class Instructors.

In anticipation of NBC's exciting live broadcast of the musical Peter Pan this Thursday, I knew it was essential to attend the Patrick Grossman directed incarnation running through January 4th at The Noel Ruiz Theatre at CM Performing Arts Center (CMPAC). They have been overly buzzing, too, as they even received a shout out from Allison Williams (who portrays the title character for NBC) on the Seth Meyer's show.
