Digital Marketing Coordinator - Starlight Theatre

Starlight is seeking tech-savvy “Star” to join our Marketing & Sales team as Digital Marketing Coordinator! This will be a full-time, salaried position that will work year-round. Starlight’s Digital Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the development and deployment of our digital marketing efforts. This includes, but is not limited to, building email communications, developing an overall social media calendar, growing social media engagement and creating campaigns and content for Starlight social media platforms. This position will track metrics and oversee website updates. In addition, the Digital Marketing Coordinator provides support for digital advertising initiatives including content for Broadway events, Concerts, Special Events and year-round programming. This position will work in a variety of platforms including the Tessitura CRM database/ticketing system, the WordPress website dashboard, Google digital marketing tools (Analytics, AdWords, Tag Manager); P2 e-mail marketing software and through various social media and online tools. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will work with a collaborative and supportive marketing + sales team while contributing to digital marketing initiatives and online patron ticketing experience and maintain the brand’s digital presence. Essential Functions & Duties • Manage digital marketing campaigns from planning to execution; monitor and evaluate campaigns to ensure they remain fresh and effective. • Build and manage the digital marketing strategy and roadmap for programming including Broadway season, Indoor series and related events, reporting on metrics, content and deadlines. • Generate reports and provide marketing data based on performances, social media, websites, emails and post-performance surveys. • Develop and lead strategic online initiatives including researching software programs and providing internal website support for customer-facing WordPress and ticketing (TNEW) sites, working with other departments for web development and ticketing support. • Develop an inclusive social media calendar that supports all of Starlight’s efforts. • Manage social media advertising and assist in procurement and negotiation of advertising contracts. • Work with the Director of Digital Marketing to develop Starlight’s nightly customer survey. • Serve as a key resource for all departments regarding website integration updates, programs and digital programming to ensure a successful customer experience. • Track and report social media metrics across all platforms. • Assist with Google Analytics and website maintenance. • Develop graphic design content for events and specialized marketing collateral. • Monitor and respond as needed to online reviews and comments. • Track emerging digital and social trends to develop new ways to drive customer engagement and sales. • Other duties as assigned. Key Competencies Candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence in proofreading and presentation abilities. The ideal candidate is flexible, dependable, detail-oriented and self-starting, has experience with digital marketing tools (Google AdWords, Google Analytics, website content management and social media platforms), online ticketing technology, e-mail marketing and data analytics. This position requires the ability to remain calm under pressure, meet deadlines, manage multiple projects and assist with programs and events as needed. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will provide the highest level of support to all patrons, team members, vendors and clients. Qualifications • B.F.A., B.A. or B.S. required, preferably in marketing, business or communications-related field • 2+ years of experience in box office operations, customer service, marketing and/or sales • Experience with HTML a plus • Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Knowledge of and experience with Tessitura ticketing system is a plus Benefits: Starlight full-time employees receive a competitive total compensation package that begins the first of the month following date of hire.
