Arts Council of Indianapolis Celebrates April As Jazz Appreciation Month

April is Jazz Appreciation Month (JAM) and the Arts Council of Indianapolis is partnering with national and local jazz organizations and artists to showcase the genre and their work. A newly created web page on www.indyarts.org features all things jazz, including an event calendar of upcoming jazz performances throughout Indianapolis, links to organizations that promote and support jazz, a listing of Indianapolis jazz artists, and interesting jazz facts and tidbits that change daily.

In addition to the resources found on www.indyarts.org, a series of free jazz performances will be presented during the month in the Indianapolis Artsgarden, owned and operated by the Arts Council.
