Think modern circus meets Mumford & Sons/Williamsburg, complete with wooden props and hoops made directly from resources available at the forests and farms surrounding their hometown. Their costumes are flannel shirts and lumberjack boots. They juggle with axes while playing guitar! TIMBER! runs October 13-19 at NYU Skirball (566 LaGuardia Place). (09/29/2014) - Honest Accomplice Theatre's THE BIRDS & THE BEES: UNABRIDGED is returning to Lower East Side's University Settlement to build on last year's debut success to explore new themes in female and trans sexuality. THE BIRDS & THE BEES: UNABRIDGED explores the unique -- yet interwoven -- life circumstances of eight women & trans people forced to confront their own sexuality, realizing that sexuality itself is not simple or clear-cut. Through dialogue, movement, song, humor, and multimedia, the performance examines such themes as partner communication, sexual identity, the de-sexualization of aging women, today's 'hook-up' culture, and sexual health.

(09/26/2014) - ?The League of Professional Theatre Women (LPTW) hosted the Inaugural Mixer for the New England Regional Chapter on Monday, September 22nd at 6:30pm ?in the upstairs lobby of the Calderwood Pavillion, at the Boston Center for the Arts. The free mixer was a lovely time to mingle with local theatre women, over wine and cheese, and learn about LPTW, followed by a 50% discount to to the world premiere of The Forgetting Curve, a new play by Vanda, directed by Kimberly Loren Eaton, presented by Bridge Rep of Boston and Theatrum Mundi Productions.

Danny Whitman, BCEFA director of Communications & Development and Angelina Fiordellisi, Artistic Director of the Cherry Lane Theater were also joined Peter & Jamie. Laird and Paley are the creators of the hit musical 'Ruthless' which will be remounted as a benefit for Broadway Cares on September 5-22 at the Triad Theatre.

Hundreds of children gathered on a PAL Playstreet at West 151st in Manhattan to play classic street games including marbles, skelly, hopscotch, traditional Double Dutch jump rope, Nok Hockey and the NYPD provided a portable rock climbing wall.
